Terms of service
The agreement between you and Frolicbit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. when you use this app. Written in plain language. Last updated 2 August 2026.
At a glance
Six things every parent should know before signing up:
- Jhablu is for parents to use with their kids (ages 6–12). You — the parent or guardian — are the account holder, not your child.
- Free or paid access. Star, Family and Solo are one-time access passes. Payment is charged today for exactly 30 or 365 days of access.
- Renewal is manual. There is no automatic renewal or payment mandate. When access ends, you can buy another pass or continue on Free.
- Activities and stories are created automatically. They’re creative, age-tuned ideas — not medical advice, not a substitute for school, not a replacement for human judgement. You decide what’s right for your kid.
- Be kind in how you use it. Don’t misuse the app, harass support, or try to break it.
- Indian law applies. Disputes are handled in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
The agreement
This agreement is between you and Frolicbit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”), the company that operates Jhablu.
By creating an account or using Jhablu, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
You must be at least 18 years old, the parent or legal guardian of any child whose profile you create, and authorised to consent to these terms on behalf of yourself and the child.
What Jhablu does
Jhablu helps parents in Indian households spend better time with their kids. It generates:
- Activities — short, screen-free things to do at home, tuned to your child’s age and interests.
- Stories — bedtime / read-aloud stories, often with Indian cultural touches.
- Rhymes — short personalised poems for your child, with read-along highlighting. Activities, stories and the monthly memory book can be saved as PDFs.
- Roleplay & detective missions — pretend-play careers and real-world missions that spark curiosity.
- Scrapbook — a private record of what you’ve done together.
- Optional features and preferences are controlled in Settings. If you previously submitted a WhatsApp number for recaps, contact support to remove it.
Your account
To use Jhablu, you sign in with your mobile number and a one-time-password (OTP). Keep your phone secure — anyone with access to your OTP can access your account.
You’re responsible for:
- The accuracy of what you enter — your name, your child’s name and age, etc.
- Deciding what activities, stories, or rhymes you share with your child. Jhablu suggests; you choose.
- Supervising your child while they do activities. Some activities involve scissors, water, or food — adult judgement is required.
Paid access and billing
The access passes
- Free — ₹0/month. 1 child profile; each week: 1 made-for-you story, 1 rhyme, and 10 activities, roleplays & missions; plus built-in content.
- Star ★ — ₹199 for 30 days or ₹1,899 for 365 days. 1 child profile; each week: 10 stories, 10 rhymes, and 50 activities, roleplays & missions; read-aloud on every rhyme; a monthly memory book.
- Family ⌂ — ₹349 for 30 days or ₹3,349 for 365 days. 2 child profiles, double the weekly limits (20 stories, 20 rhymes, 100 activities, roleplays & missions), all Star features for every child. Co-parent access and cross-device sync are on our roadmap and will be added during your access period when they ship.
- Solo teacher — ₹199 for 30 days or ₹1,899 for 365 days. 30 generations a week (the free teacher account gets 5 a week), plus PDF and print for everything you make.
Payment and access
There is no paid-plan trial — Razorpay charges the displayed amount when you confirm payment, and you can stay on Free without ever paying. Access then lasts exactly 30 or 365 days, according to the pass shown before checkout. The app displays the exact access end date after payment is confirmed.
Expiry and renewal
Paid access does not renew automatically, so there is no recurring payment to cancel. At the displayed end date, the account returns to Free unless you manually buy another pass. Buying another pass while access is active extends the existing end date. If a pass is refunded, the access it granted ends when we process the refund; any access from an earlier pass is unaffected.
Refunds
We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first paid charge if you’re not happy with Jhablu, provided the paid features have not been substantially used. Once a significant part of the included usage has been consumed, the purchase is no longer refundable. To ask, email contact@frolicbit.com. After that, refunds are at our discretion and only for verified billing errors.
Price changes
A price change affects only future purchases. It never shortens access already purchased or changes an amount already charged.
About automatically created content
Most of what Jhablu shows you — activities, stories, rhymes — is generated automatically in real time, tuned to the profile you’ve given us. Some honest reality checks:
- It’s creative, not authoritative. Automated systems may occasionally produce odd ideas, repeat themselves, or get a cultural detail wrong. Use your judgement before doing an activity with your child.
- Not medical, therapeutic, or curriculum advice. Jhablu isn’t a substitute for doctors, therapists, teachers, or school. If your child needs professional support — please get it from a professional.
- No guarantee of outcomes. We can’t and don’t promise that using Jhablu will improve grades, behaviour, IQ, or any specific metric. What it does promise: ideas you wouldn’t have thought of, in seconds.
- Pretend play is pretend. Roleplay missions, activities and stories are make-believe. Never set up the real version of a situation at home — no real fire, water, heights, tools, medicines or electricity — and stay with your child while they play.
- Safety filters can miss things. We have safety guardrails on activities, but no filter is perfect. If something feels off, don’t run the activity, and tell us so we can improve.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- Use Jhablu to harm or exploit children, including children other than your own.
- Try to extract or reverse-engineer the generation prompts, scrape content, or bypass paid-feature limits.
- Create profiles for fictional children or people who don’t exist.
- Misuse the WhatsApp support / feedback channels — they’re for real questions, not spam.
We can suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.
Fair use of generation. Paid passes have plan- and content-specific safeguards. Star includes up to 10 stories, 10 rhymes, and 50 activities, roleplays & missions per week; Family includes up to 20 stories, 20 rhymes, and 100 activities, roleplays & missions per week. Solo Teacher includes up to 30 teacher creations per week (free teacher accounts get 5 per week). Short burst and daily safeguards also protect the service from automation. Jhablu shows when a reached limit resets; these safeguards do not affect saved content.
Content and intellectual property
The Jhablu brand, app design, mascot (Jhablu the parakeet), built-in stories, prompt designs, and code are owned by Frolicbit Technologies Pvt. Ltd..
You own your scrapbook. The activities you generate and save, the photos you upload, and notes you add are yours. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process this content only to run the app for you.
Automatically generated content (activities, stories, rhymes) is yours to use with your child as you wish. You can share a story or activity with friends, family, or your child’s teacher. Commercial use (e.g., reselling the content) requires our written permission.
Disclaimers
Jhablu is provided as is. We do our best to make it work well, but to the extent permitted by Indian law, we don’t make legal warranties that:
- The app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
- Automatically generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for every situation.
- Optional features (like language packs) will work perfectly on every device.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim related to Jhablu is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you’re on the Free plan, our liability is limited to ₹0.
We’re not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages (lost time, missed opportunities, etc.). This doesn’t limit liabilities that can’t be excluded under Indian consumer law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Frolicbit Technologies Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees and partners from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of Jhablu, your breach of these terms or of any law, or your infringement of someone else’s rights — for example, sharing content you had no right to share, or using the service in a way these terms prohibit. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Termination
You can stop using Jhablu any time — signing out ends the session on this device. Account data (profiles, scrapbook, saved stories) stays saved and returns when you sign back in; device-only preferences can remain in that browser. To permanently erase the account, use Settings → Your data → Delete my account. Paid access returns to Free on its displayed end date. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice except where immediate action is needed (fraud, abuse, etc.).
Changes to these terms
We’ll update this page when the terms change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes (anything that affects your rights, pricing, or how we use your data) will be flagged in the app with at least 30 days’ notice so you can decide whether to keep using Jhablu.
General
Force majeure. We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control — internet or power outages, natural disasters, strikes, government action, or failures of third-party services we rely on (payment gateways, content-generation providers, hosting).
Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
No waiver. If we don’t enforce a right or provision, that isn’t a waiver of it.
Assignment. You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our consent. We may assign these terms to a successor (for example, in a merger or acquisition), with notice to you.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Frolicbit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. about Jhablu, and replace any earlier understanding.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Before going to court, please email us — most things can be resolved that way.
